Terms of Use
These terms explain how you may use Imogen Pro and what you're agreeing to when you buy a subscription or the lifetime purchase.
The short version
- Imogen Pro is licensed to you under Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA), plus the terms on this page.
- You use your own API keys and pay AI providers directly. Their charges, terms and usage policies are between you and them.
- You're responsible for what you generate and for having the rights to the files you upload.
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple and renew automatically until you cancel.
1. The license
Imogen Pro is provided by AI OR DIE PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”), and is licensed, not sold, to you through the Mac App Store under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”). These Terms of Use add to the EULA. If anything here conflicts with the EULA, the EULA wins.
2. Free generations, subscriptions and lifetime
- Free generations. Imogen Pro includes 100 free generations. If you're signed in to iCloud, they're shared between your Macs. Each image or video created, and each cloud upscale or other cloud tool result, counts as one. Your library — browsing, organizing, searching, tagging and importing — and Apple's on-device upscaling and frame interpolation stay free and don't count.
- Imogen Pro Monthly ($29.00 a month) and Yearly ($239.00 a year) are auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock unlimited generations while active. Prices are in US dollars; App Store prices vary by country and may include tax.
- Imogen Pro Lifetime ($699.00) is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks unlimited generations in Imogen Pro without a subscription. You can restore it on Macs signed in to the same Apple Account.
- Launch offer. Until 31 December 2026, new subscribers can start Monthly at $19.00 a month for their first 12 months, or Yearly at $169.00 for their first year; after that, the subscription renews at the regular price above. These introductory prices are available once per Apple Account across both subscriptions. Lifetime is $499.00 until 31 December 2026, then $699.00.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the regular price once any introductory price has ended, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and canceling. Manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store (click your name, then Account Settings, then Subscriptions) or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes. We may change prices for new purchases. Apple notifies subscribers of price increases as its rules require.
Purchases unlock unlimited use of Imogen Pro. They don't include any AI provider's services — see the next section.
3. Your API keys and provider accounts
To generate with a cloud provider, you need your own account and API key with that provider. When you add a key, you allow Imogen Pro to send your requests — prompts, reference files and settings — directly to that provider on your behalf.
- The provider bills you directly for what you generate, at its own prices. You're responsible for all charges on your provider accounts, including charges from requests started by AI assistants you connect to Imogen Pro.
- Cost estimates and recorded costs in Imogen Pro are estimates based on published prices or the usage a provider reports. The provider's own billing is what counts.
- You must follow each provider's terms of service, usage policies and age requirements, and keep your keys secure. Remove a key in Settings → Providers if you think it's been exposed, and revoke it with the provider.
4. Your content
As between you and us, your prompts, reference files and the media you generate are yours; we don't claim any rights in them and never receive them. Each provider's terms decide what rights you have in its output and what the provider may do with your inputs.
You're responsible for the content you create and share, and for having the rights and permissions needed for any files you upload as references (including images of other people). Don't use Imogen Pro to create content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, sexualizes minors, harasses or deceives people, or breaks a provider's usage policy.
AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to existing works. Review it before you rely on it or publish it.
5. Third-party services and models
AI providers, file hosting (fal.ai) and AI assistants you connect are third-party services that we don't control. We're not responsible for their availability, output, pricing, data handling or changes. Providers add, change and retire models often; Imogen Pro updates its model catalog and price list from imogenpro.com to keep up, but we can't guarantee any particular model or provider will remain available or work the same way.
6. AI assistants (MCP)
If you turn on Imogen Pro's MCP server, assistants you connect can read your library and act within Imogen Pro, including starting generations if you allow it in Settings → MCP. You're responsible for the assistants you connect and for what they do, including any provider charges.
7. Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, tamper with or work around Imogen Pro's purchase checks or free-generation limit, except where the law allows it despite this restriction, and don't use the app in a way that breaks the law or the EULA.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Imogen Pro is provided “as is”, and the disclaimers of warranty and limitations of liability in the EULA apply. In particular, we aren't liable for charges by AI providers, for third-party services, or for loss of files — keep backups of work you care about. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Imogen Pro changes. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using Imogen Pro after a change, the updated terms apply.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes belong to the courts of Singapore, except where the law of your home country gives you protections and venues that apply regardless.
